just to notify you guys, from now onwards, please remove your footwear before you enter the kitchen. For the time being, it might be a little dirty/oily/full of bird shit, but rest assured, we'll do something about it asap.
Anyway, i understand it is quite disgusting when we have to walk on oily floors with bird shit. however, the purpose of keeping footwear out is to keep the kitchen clean. if we allow footwear just to avoid the oil and bird shit, it means that the oil and bird shit stays but we're going to overlook that prob. and even if we are going to clean off the oil and bird shit regularly, the floor will still be dirty because of footwear. thus, we really really really would like to seek your understanding and support in this matter.
please remind one another to help clean up the kitchen after use. we will be putting a stack of newspapers to lay on the floor whenever anyone has to cook. at the same time, block comm will be doing regular kitchen cleaning, so guys do help us out with this task.

well...its a hard decision made by the block comm and since pictures speak louder than words, here are some to justify out sportswoman, Cynthia!
She sacrificed her right ankle while protecting the ball...
She learnt her lesson on the spot and knew how to "siam" subsequent similar attacks...
She smiles even when she loses the possession of the ball.
She is always ready to dive at her opponent for block A during any TOUCH rugby game..
and finally, she is sooo friendly that Shearites from other blocks just can't resist to hug her during the game.
okok...you may not agree with what i said but before we start arguing, lets have a look at our best sportsman, marcus!...
You can tell how hard the opponent was going to whack the ball and Marcus sacrificed himself!
He just look sooo professional!
After seeing the photos, I'm sure you all will agree with us that Cynthia and Marcus deserve the titles!..Here are some of our other considerations....

really really want to thank everyone who made it down today despite the tiring 2 weeks which we just had. especially those who had commitments but squeezed out that little bit of time just to come down and mark attendance.we really really really rock, even the umpires and other block residents were stunned.
im honestly touched by the effort that everyone had put in thus far. today has been the most exhausting yet amazing day. we went for road relay early in the morning, played touch and softball. even though the weather was pretty fked up, with the blazing sun and short drizzles, it couldnt stop us.
honestly guys, after today's softball workout, i'm really starting to get quite interested in it.hahaha maybe we should try it out togehter some day.
