Hi guys,
just to notify you guys, from now onwards, please remove your footwear before you enter the kitchen. For the time being, it might be a little dirty/oily/full of bird shit, but rest assured, we'll do something about it asap.
Anyway, i understand it is quite disgusting when we have to walk on oily floors with bird shit. however, the purpose of keeping footwear out is to keep the kitchen clean. if we allow footwear just to avoid the oil and bird shit, it means that the oil and bird shit stays but we're going to overlook that prob. and even if we are going to clean off the oil and bird shit regularly, the floor will still be dirty because of footwear. thus, we really really really would like to seek your understanding and support in this matter.
please remind one another to help clean up the kitchen after use. we will be putting a stack of newspapers to lay on the floor whenever anyone has to cook. at the same time, block comm will be doing regular kitchen cleaning, so guys do help us out with this task.
