On 4th Oct(Sat)2008, Xue hai was on his way to biz library after sleeping till 4pm. As he entered the lift, the door closed forcefully behind him, and raised itself upwards from lvl 4, without him pressing any button. He thought it must be the lift feeling very desperate to serve lvl 6 so he did not care.
Suddenly, the lift stopped and the alarm went off. He was stuck!. After trying to open the door with all his might, he only managed to open a small gap to realise that the lift had overshot lvl 6 and was stuck halfway upwards from the opening!.OMG!!.. Fortunately it stopped right there. Bryan came to the rescue after few minutes. He rushed down to lvl 1 to talk to xuehai over the lift phone and tried to calm nervous xuehai down, then alerted the RF.
Xuehai waited for half an hour while the deafening alarm kept ringing in his ear, almost forcing him to re-enact the similar scences in prison break. Xuehai wanted to use the screws of his specs to open the alarm system control box and cut the voltage supplying wire to the alarm bell. Luckly, he concluded that being as good looking as MICHAEL SCOFIELD (Wentworth Miller) does not mean that he is as clever. He sat down and waited while yongsim and I were teasing him from outside, with cool wind blowing on us at lvl 6.

No picture was taken as the professional lift technician doesn't allow so when he arrived. When the door was finally opened, Xuehai was sitting there listening to his mp3 player and reading his lecture notes. OMG!..SOO COOL!!.. no wonder so many girls are after him.
The lift took quite a while to be back on service. Upon closer inspection, we realise that the certificate of maintainence of lift's expiry date was..OMG...back in 2005. Feedbacks will be given to the office this coming monday.
For now, my advise to all who are taking the lift: pls bring along lecture notes whenever you want to use the lift and try to go with someone else so that you have companion if the lift happens to "act by itself" again.
